Soon going to Pamir

If everything goes according to plan, we will arrive Dushanbe June 30 (capitol of Tajikistan). Next day we will hire a jeep and drive deep into the southern ranges of Pamir, only a short distance from the border of Afghanistan, and pretty close to Hindu Kush. This overland journey will probably take up to 3 days, before we arrive the Shakdhara Range and its two most impressing peaks; Pik Karla Marxa (6723m) and Pik Engels (6510m). A long time will be spent on the mountain, and hopefully we will summit Karla Marxa after 2 weeks or so..... inshalla (if God permits).
After the initial climb, our agenda is pretty flexible. We might give Engels a try (pretty difficult though). But more likely we will turn to a 7000m mountain like Pik Kommunizma, Pik Lenin or Pik Korzhenevskoj. Time will show. We have 5 weeks to spend in the Pamirs, so it will be possible to do two major peaks.
August 6 we will fly from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and back home.
