National Day in Brunei

I was not aware of this big happening at all and it was such a nice bonus after doing the highest peak in Brunei. Just share luck to be at the right place at the right time.
Brunei gained its independence from the United Kingdom on 1 January 1984. The official National Day, which celebrates the country's independence, however, is held on 23 February due to tradition. It was very interesting to watch the street parade. We are actually celebrating the National Day of Norway in a similar fashion. See all my photos below.
